How to get to the Conference Centre
The Calané Conference Centre - Nova Yardinia venue is located near Castellaneta Marina, at 95 kilometres away from Bari. The Conference Centre is easily accessible from Bari Airport (the Meeting Point) by bus or car service provided by the XIV ICC. There are not any other public transport services from Bari Airport to Nova Yardinia.
1ST STEP. GETTING TO KAROL WOJTYLA BARI AIRPORT BY:
a. Air flight. Several airlines fly to Bari, including low cost companies, and a lot of daily flights from the two Italian hubs – Rome and Milan – reach this airport. Please visit the Airport web site for more information and book your flight early to get the ticket at the best price.
b. Train/Bus. People who arrive in Bari from other Italian localities by train or bus can get to Karol Wojtyla Bari Airport by urban public bus (the single ticket costs € 0.77 each) or by Airport Shuttle (the single ticket costs € 4.15 each). Both buses leave from the Central Railway Station.Maps will be posted on this page.
2ND STEP. GETTING TO NOVA YARDINIA FROM BARI AIRPORT BY:
a. Conference Shuttle (free). A complementary shuttle service will be provided by the XIV ICC from Bari Airport to Nova Yardinia Saturday 13th.
Eight departure time will be scheduled as follows:
9.00; 11.00; 13.00; 15.00; 17.00; 19.00; 21.00; 23.00.
The frequency may be subject to change depending on the time of the participants’ arrival. It is necessary to fill in the Travel Info section on your Conference Personal Page whether you have to use this service. To have access to the bus, you should indicate your CIN to the driver.
This cheapest solution is suitable for the participants who will stay in Nova Yardinia for the entire week.
Non-registered guests can use the shuttle service at a cost of 25 euro to be charged to their inviters' registration.
b. Renting a car. There is a good highway from Bari Airport to Nova Yardinia, It will take you 70-80 minutes' drive. The Nova Yardinia complex has large parking areas (free).
This solution is suitable for the participants who feel like visiting the wonderful places surrounding the conference venue.
c. Private taxi service. The XIV ICC is organizing a private car service which will be provided during the meeting from Saturday 13th to Saturday 20th. The transport costs from Bari Airport to Nova Yardinia and vice versa will depend on the number of passengers (€ 100 per car – max. 4 persons). Send an email to taxi@14icc.org for reservation. We are trying to form groups to bring costs down.

GETTING TO BARI AIRPORT FROM NOVA YARDNIA BY:
a. Free shuttle service will be provided by the XIV ICC from Nova Yardinia to Bari Airport Saturday 20th.
Eight departure time will be scheduled as follows: 4.00; 6.00; 8.00; 10.00; 12.00; 14.00; 16.00; 18.00.
Non-registered guests can use the shuttle service at a cost of 25 euro.
b. Private taxi service. Send an email to taxi@14icc.org for reservation. You may also book your taxi at Calané reception desk.
Weather
In southern Italy summer begins in May and in June there is almost no rain. Mean daily temperature ranges from 18-20°C (min) to 27-29°C (max).

Invitation Letter
The Organizing Committee will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to registered participants upon request. It should be understood that such a letter is only intended to help participants to obtain a visa or to raise travel funds and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support. Please send your request to the XIV ICC Secretariat (secretariat@14icc.org) giving the following details:
name and FAMILY name;
data and place of birth; nationality; address; job address; postal address and fax number to which the letter of invitation should be sent.
Passport/Visa
Any foreign visitors wishing to enter the Italian Republic must have an Identity Card (UE citizens) or a valid passport (non-EU citizens). Someone may need Visa before coming. Please consult your local passport authority or Italian diplomatic representatives in your Country well before your travel.
