Two half-day visits, free of charge both for participants and accompanying person, will take place during the Meeting. Destinations are “Sassi di Matera”, a truly prehistoric urban agglomerate, and Trulli di Alberobello, a little town mainly composed of stone dwellings with conical roves and built without any mortar. Both sites belong to Unesco World Heritage. The tours will take place by bus and the distance from Castellaneta Marina is about 60 km in both cases.
